Honestly, I don’t know what I love more: summer, New Jersey, or today being my last day of teaching summer school. I may be a bit biased but there is nothing like a New Jersey summer. From the beautiful beaches down the Shore to farmer’s markets overflowing with fresh produce, this is the best time to be in the Garden State. My only disclaimer is NJ can be a bit expensive. If you don’t know where to look, you might feel like you have to stay home. Lucky for you, I’m sharing five of my favorite free and cheap things to do in New Jersey over on Broke Girls Go Out.
If you don’t know Broke Girls Go Out, you should. Jess and Martine share amazing things to do when you’re a babe on a budget in and around Philadelphia. They also share ways to cut back costs so you can make your big dreams happen. Plus Martine is moving out to California soon and you bet they’re going to be covering everything coast to coast. Check out my New Jersey post here and be sure to follow along with the Broke Girls for even more free things to do!
