A little Pennsylvania town that captured my heart this winter and early spring is Lancaster. About an hour outside of Philadelphia, it’s a sleepy little post-industrial city. It has everything: good restaurants, fun boutiques, antique shops, brick row homes, craft beer, and, of course, coffee shops. There is a definite laid-back vibe in every nook. But nowhere is more laid-back and casual than Passenger Coffee.
Located in the heart of Lancaster on King Street, Passenger Coffee is a dream coffee shop. It’s got two bright windows, a minimalist white interior, and plenty of space for hanging out. Since my visits to Passenger Coffee are only on random weekends, I’m not sure about the work situation. But if I had to guess, I’m guessing it’s good with the bright, airy interior and plenty of tablespace. Plus it is a minimalist’s dream with that lettered menu board. Also, just like most places in Lancaster, the staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. Now I know it’s kind of weird to travel miles away for a coffee shop but you might just want to for Passenger Coffee.
